Frequently asked questions.
Where are NanoJet CDa Products available?
If you are in the UK or the US, you can purchase from the website or contact us for commercial or bulk orders.
If you are outside of the UK or US please check if we have a distribution partner in your area.
Explore our Buyers Hub for more information.
Do I have to spray every room of my house with it to be effective?
Yes, for best purification. However, you may skip the unoccupied rooms with door closed.
You may set CDa in a central location of the house and let CDa spay longer time with all room doors opened so that the high-speed nano-sized droplets can fly into the rooms.
How frequently do I need to clean my surfaces?
There are no specific requirements for cleaning the surfaces. We recommend following your normal surface cleaning routine .
(P.S there is no 100% clean surface in our living/working environment, if there are hygiene requirements for specific surface/area, the customer should already have a disinfecting routine for it. Normal cleaning routine will disinfect the surfaces and leave residual disinfectant to kill the bacteria/virus. if there is no already implemented cleaning routine meaning no cleaning requirement on the surface.)
How long after spraying should I clean the surfaces?
There are no specific requirements for cleaning the surfaces. We recommend following your normal surface cleaning routine.
What third party testing have you done to verify the product?
We have our product tested by LMS Technologies, INC in the US for the removal of MS2 virus and pollen. We are now working with the NHS to test our product on bacteria removal and Allergy standards for allergen removal. Learn more in our Knowledge Hub.
After using the device, will I kick up fallen viruses and pollutants and reintroduce them into the air?
Based on the 3rd party independent tests on virus and bacteria, the concentration of contaminant is monotonic decrease, no observation of bounce back of the concentration of virus or bacteria under disturbance 1 hour after applying CDa.
Some background information about the tests, in the test chamber, 4 ventilating fans located at 4 corners and running through the whole experiments to disturb and circulate the air. In such an environment with strong air flow, no bounce back of concentration of contaminants has been observed. Learn more in our Knowledge Hub.
You are storing water within your products, what about legionella?
We are acutely aware of the issues some products may experience that store and spray water. However, all of our CDa product range utilize UV disinfection technology which is certified to effectively kill 99.99% of legionella and other viruses to treat water stored in the tank prior to it being sprayed. Ensuring you only use distilled water, will also aid in preventing this risk.
Can I add disinfectant to the tank?
No, we don’t recommend to addadding disinfectant to the tank and it is not necessary to do so to any products within our CDa series as our products can remove over 99% of viruses from the air using only water. In some countries, it is also against the law to spray chemicals into the air.
Can I add perfumes to the tank / does it get rid of odours?
Our products do a fantastic job at removing unwanted odours from the home, no matter the source. We do not endorse the use of adding perfume to the tank, as this may impact the performance of our products.
How do I prevent the nozzle from being clogged with limescale?
Do not use tap water or spring water in our products for this reason. Please only use distilled water or purified water in our CDa products. Distilled water is preferred to CDa. The following water meeting corresponding standards can also be used. Purified (pure) water meeting the definition from United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP), or European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.). Deionized water meeting ISO 3696 or ASTM D1193-06 standard.
Can I just use tap water?
NO!
Will it set off the fire alarms in my house?
There may be a small chance that the fire alarm is set off when using our products directly under the smoke alarm. However, this will vary depending on the type of fire alarm and proximity the spray is to the alarm. To prevent this from happening, we recommend not spraying our products directly toward the fire alarm.
Will it cause dampness in my house?
The amount of water our products spray into the air is very minimal (35 ml/min). In the instance where mould is already present within a room, we would not recommend our products, as this could aggregate the mould further. However, for houses which do not already have mould or damp, our products should not promote the growth of mould or dampness, provided they are used correctly.
What does the blue light do (CDa Pro)?
The blue light is for decorative purposes only, it highlights the invisible water jet streams.
How long will the machine spray in a single tank (CDa Pro)?
For 1.8L tank, CDa Pro would be able to spray for about 45 mins
How loud is the machine (CDa Pro)?
Approximately 75-80 dB which is similar to vacuum cleaner. We would recommend using the timing function, and leaving the device in the centre of the room alone with the door closed to isolate the noise, if it is an issue.
How do I clean the inside of the CDa Pro?
Our system does not require cleaning routine since:
Our machine uses the highest standard antibacterial material for all our components which at the 1st place avoid the growth of bacteria.
Our machine is equipped with a UV module to ensure only clean water is sprayed out from our product and at the same time no contaminated water can pass through our components.
We recommend using distilled/purified water so that no bio contaminants can be introduced into our products.
We recommend draining the water tank if the product is not used for more than 3 days and changing the water if the water stays in the tank for more than 3 days.
